Also known as the Museum of folk arts.This is an institute of Local art and culture of Udaipur which was established by Padma Shri Devi lal Samar in 1952. The purpose of the institute is to preserve the art and culture of Udaipur or in general of Rajasthan and its neighboring states

The folk museum has a rare collection for about 44 years, The unique collection ranges from typical rural-dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings of special interest.
